The Honourable Dr. Noreen Izza Arshad

|Currently, Dr Noreen is a senior lecturer at the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in Malaysia. She is attached to the Department of Computer and Information Sciences and involves with teaching and research activities in the Information Systems cluster. Dr Noreen’s primary research goals are directed toward understanding the use of technologies and how it could assist towards a better living and quality of life.
She has designed a few methodologies, framework as well as tools and technologies for assisting society that include stuttering mobile application, elderly monitoring systems, content management systems for organizations and a few others. Her future research plans are to develop ways and promoting technologies as an enabler to assist people in any aspect of life that include education, healthcare and agriculture.
She has published and presented her work in local and international conferences and journals. Beyond her research success, she is also experienced in teaching. She has taught a few courses that include knowledge management, IT project management and database systems. She has received the Effective Education Delivery Award in 2015 due to outstanding teaching techniques delivered to fellow students. Dr Noreen has always tried her level best to balance up between teaching and research and improve it from time to time.
